Pile O’ Jobs is a job search engine targeting qualified jobseekers across the Caribbean. Our goal is to make finding your next job a simple yet effective, enjoyable journey. We can’t always promise you’ll discover your dream job, but we’ll give you the best chance possible to get a bigger paycheck, a more considerate boss, or a shorter commute.

More than a year ago we released our first version of the website. Since then we’ve been constantly improving the search engine to ensure you get the best possible chance at that ideal job. We have lots more to show you in the weeks and months ahead. 1. What happens when I apply online for a job that's posted on PileOJobs.com?

   Employers receive your resume and cover letter (if you included one) via email. You will receive a confirmation message on the application form stating that your resume was sent successfully. You may also receive an email from the Employer confirming the receipt of your resume. Please note that some Employers and Recruiters may not respond immediately to your resume submission.

2. Do I need to have a Pile O' Jobs member account to apply for jobs?

   No

3. Do I need a resume to apply to a job posting?

   Yes, you will need to include a resume when you apply online.

4. Why should I create a cover letter?

   A cover letter lets you call attention to your unique skills or an unusual job history. You can also emphasize your work experience more concisely in a cover letter.

5. Why didn't I receive a response when I applied online?

   Each company has its own method for evaluating resumes. A small company may send a personalized response indicating that your resume was received. Many larger companies have automated email replies. Some companies do not acknowledge the receipt of a resume unless they want to initiate the interview process.

6. Should I contact Pile O' Jobs to inquire about a job?

   Not unless the job in question happens to be with Pile O' Jobs! Otherwise, we're the search engine, not the hiring company. To follow up on an application, contact the company you're applying to directly. They'll appreciate your initiative, and unlike us, they'll know the status of your application.

7. Why do I see older/expired listings on the site?

   While we do a great deal to reduce the probability that you will see an older/expired listing on the Simply Hired site, old/expired listings can appear if the source site (where we pulled the information from) still has the job active on their site.

   Note: The source site is shown at the bottom of every job listing when on the search results page.

8. How do I look for a job on PileOJobs.com?

   Looking for a job on Simply Hired is quite easy. From the homepage, please do the following:

   1. Enter your keywords (job title, company, skills) in the keyword field.
   2. Enter a location (city, parish or country).
   3. Click "Search Jobs." You will be brought to a results page that contains all of the job listings that match your search terms.
   4. If you see a job you are interested in, simply click on the link for the job title.
