When you performed that search you basically told the engine "the results have to contain jamaica. so that becomes first priority. Then next in priority is the word "information" then "technology" .

To provide a better search we've added a tool which can be seen below the search box.

By including two plus signs ie. searching "information ++technology" and Jamaica you tell the engine technology and Jamaica must be present thus better results.

Try it let me know how it works out for you.

Hey thanx for the recognition much appreciated...mi LARGE lol.

i was on the site lastnight testing out the new search. i realized one thing though. i did a search for Information Technology and Jamaica and i actually saw results from non IT categories like accountant, electrician, psychologist just to name a few. it seems as if search is only listing jobs from jamaica and not narrowing down the list to those in the IT category.

@crystal I'm not sure if i understand what exactly what you want to do, however when you search the results are sorted by relevancy and date combined.

If what you are asking for is to simply have a list of the jobs in date order, then we would have a list 100 pages long!! for just over 1,000 jobs.

If I am indeed misunderstanding what you would like. let me know.

Hi the website is good. I like the idea of searching one website that links all others. However, I want to be able to see all the lastest jobs. I don't want to have to search for a particular job as this would allow me the opportunity to change fields if I choose.

@Bluecopper:

You actually can narrow your searches to country two ways

1. include the country along with your keyword, eg. search for “marketing manager jamaica” rather than “marketing manager”

2. Use the advanced search option. specify that the job must contain the country your looking to work in.
